Three distinct Great Wall days.

Rail service has been temporarily suspended for construction, so the active itinerary uses bus transportation.

Day 1

Simatai → Water Town → camp

  1. Bus from Beijing

    Exact departure time and meeting point are confirmed separately.

  2. Simatai Great Wall

    Allow approximately four hours; optional cable car is paid locally.

  3. Gubei Water Town

    Stroll the waterways and heritage-style architecture.

  4. Dinner and camp

    Country-style meal, then camp inside an ancient watchtower with setup assistance.

Day 2

Gubeikou → Jinshanling

  1. Breakfast

    Prepare for a substantial hiking day.

  2. Four-hour guided hike

    A local guide leads an exclusive Gubeikou-to-Jinshanling route.

  3. Optional sunset

    Weather permitting, add a 20-minute hike to General Tower.

  4. Dinner and second camp

    Return to the camping center, then sleep on the Wall again.

Day 3

Sunrise → Jinshanling → Beijing

  1. Sunrise

    Approximately 4:00 AM in summer or 7:00 AM in winter.

  2. Independent Jinshanling hike

    Use a route map from the main entrance to East Entrance, approximately 3–3.5 hours.

  3. Lunch and shuttle bus

    Meet our team at East Entrance and return to Beijing after lunch.
