This private circuit combines contrasting Wall landscapes over two days. Gubeikou and Jinshanling show different defensive styles; Jiankou and Huanghuacheng add a wilder, more varied second day.
Expect two active days, variable footing and a basic outdoor overnight. Pack a small overnight bag, weather layers, personal medication and a headlamp.

Day 1 connects the unrestored battlefield landscape of Gubeikou with Jinshanling’s towers. The original program then transfers to Jiankou for the watchtower camping night.
Jiankou’s dramatic, rugged ridges form the next morning’s hiking setting. Huanghuacheng provides a contrasting lakeside finale, where the Wall meets the water. The exact safe walking line depends on conditions.
