Jinshanling was developed during the Ming period and is known for towers of varied forms along the ridgeline. As the light lowers, the brickwork and mountain folds make especially good photographic subjects.
The original sunset program describes around 3.5 hours of hiking, followed by time to watch the sun go down and a countryside dinner. The direction and duration are adjusted to available daylight.
